The Bangor Area Breakfast Rotary is hosting its 5th annual All That Jazz Concert on Thursday March 18, 2010 at 7PM in Bangor High School's Peakes Auditorium. This concert gives high school musical ensembles the opportunities to:
- Perform in a public, non-competitive setting, to show off their talents to the general public, and
- Practice for their respective state championships.
This year's participants are:
Bangor High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble
Brewer High School Jazz Ensemble
Bangor High School Concert Band
Old Town High School Concert Band
The fund raising aspects will have a three-fold benefit:
- Each of the performing groups will receive $1000 for their various fundraising needs. These monies come directly from Corporate Sponsors.
- The performing group voted by the audience as the best that evening will receive an additional $2000. These monies come directly from Corporate Sponsors.
- Proceeds from ticket sales (attendance is expected to be over 800 people) will go to the Good Shepheard Food Bank, to benefit their disaster relief services. The charitable focus of the Bangor Area Breakfast Rotary is to "improve and enhance the quality of life for children at risk."
Corporate Sponsorship Levels are:
Center Page Sponsorship support of $2000 provides the prize money going directly to the best performing group as voted on by the audience. The Center Page sponsorship provider will be given full recognition in all media promotions and advertising opportunities, a full one-page ad in the program book, and special recognition at the performance and awards ceremony.
Full Sponsorship support of $1000 provides a participating musical group with the "scholarship" for its performance. Full sponsorship providers will be given recognition at the performance and have a full one page ad in the program book.
Co-sponsorship support of $500 will receive a ½ page ad in the program book.
By supporting the "All That Jazz" event, you are supporting those music students in your community in a friendly regional venue where everyone wins as they prepare for the state championships by performing in front of a large audience.
